With our methods of compression molding we are achieving a 73% /27% carbon / epoxy ratio giving us a density of 1.26 g/cc (0.0455 lb/in 3 ). In comparison T6061-T6 aluminum has a density of 2.7g/cc (0.0975 lb/in 3 ) titanium alloy 4.7g/cc (0.17 lb/in 3 ) and crmo 7.85g/cc( 0.284lb/in 3 ) .This allows us to manufacture our parts with thicker cross sections also adding to the strength.
